It was this week perhaps I was challenged the most. Everything that could possibly happen, happened. Kids going crazy, systems breakdown, client cancels and the list goes on. more than 50% of the things I needed to get done didn't happen. As frustrating as that is Friday is my morning to really reflect. I took a moment to step back (breath...). I recognised that even in the midst of this I managed to get two of the most important goals completed. One way I did this was re -reading Willpower by Roy Baumeister and John Tierney to remind myself of the importance of where I expend my mental energy.
Focus is a critical skill to acquire as it is the gateway to rapid progress.
